Land Assistant BD is a Bangla-language smart land-services platform for Bangladesh. It brings mutation (namjari) applications, land and inheritance (faraiz) calculators, field survey and measurement, legal guidance and a land Q&A hub into one place, giving property owners an accurate, hassle-free and affordable way to handle land matters.
The Challenge
Core challenge identified
Land mutation and inheritance division in Bangladesh involve complex share calculations, heavy paperwork and repeated visits to land offices. Owners rarely know which documents they need or whether they are eligible, and mistakes in a schedule (tafsil) or share calculation are common — slow and costly to fix. Existing help is fragmented across brokers, surveyors and lawyers, and almost none of it is digital or in plain Bangla.
Our Approach
Engineering-led solution
We built a Bangla-first platform on Next.js and Node.js that covers the whole land-service journey. The mutation service guides users through data entry, schedule analysis, eligibility checks, required documents, automatic calculation, application filing and follow-up. Six calculators handle owner share, khatian plot land, Muslim (faraiz) and Hindu inheritance division and dakhila (land tax), turning error-prone manual maths into instant results. Alongside these sit field survey and measurement services (Google Maps, mouza maps, digital partition, drone and GIS survey), legal advice and a categorised Q&A hub.
